Krylon is quite different to regular spray paint as it the military range is designed to go on most materials and be very flat in colour, its used largely by modern SF guys to camo up weapons and equipment. Its excellent for toning down and taking the 'shape & shine' from modern nylon assault vests and weapons -esp when the green, browns and sand colours are used and blended together. Howwever, saying that it would probably be inappropriate for WW2 equipment. SOF sell cans of appropraite US army ww2 OD coloured spray, but also consider using the Tamiya model sprays too for the small area you wish to cover. Failing that get in touch with the Red Ball Express guys they must have access to US ww2 OD spray with all thier vehicle work they do. |

Krylon Is used as graffiti paint though so I dont see how it can be very different. Krylon is known among Graffers as being very expensive thats why its usually racked (stolen) rather than purchased. Id be surprised if the rusults from cheaper paint (not stupidly cheaper) was not as good. _________________ SCHARFSCHUTZE |
