Hi All.  BJ and I haven't been on the forum for a few days because we have computer problems and they won't be sorted until next week.

If you are trying to sort out a uniform please see BJ's posting under kit for HBT Reed Greens.  This is where we get our Reed Greens from.  Be careful of some of the other companies because they may look completely different in style and colour to the ones that we are wearing.
BJ and I will be at Avoncroft this weekend, so please talk to us or other members of the group before spending loads of money.

Female uniforms.  I have been looking into this for about 3 years.  I have given up on the Helferin skirt and jacket (it was only walking out dress anyway).  I could have bought SS uniforms a dozen times over but they are a different colour.  SS is pale grey and Heer is dark charcoal grey, so adapting an SS uniform won't work.
I now have a nurse's uniform, grey working smock and HBT Reed Greens
badged up as signals.  If new members are coming this weekend we could talk about options.

Hi again.

Just to let new members know.  Normally at events BJ supplies breakfast and evening meal each day - £1 for breakfast and £1.50 for evening meal.  We weren't at Beltring and we aren't doing Detling, but Avoncroft, Victory Show, Nene Valley etc, we will be there.

We are not arriving at Avoncroft until Saturday morning and on Saturday night we all normally go and get take aways which are close by.  On Sunday morning BJ will be doing bacon sandwiches for everyone who wishes to participate.  You will need to supply your own tea, coffee and other drinks at events, plus nibbles for around lunchtime.

See you Saturday.

Christine

Servus lads  Very Happy Have e-mailed Eurotrader, got the reply this morning, apparantly they do ship to the UK but have only got sizes 13's and above   Confused   Confused, it is the same as the Landser site, only 13's and above. The only advice on mountain boots is to buy a normal pair and convert them, or keep looking, try e bay , sometimes they come up for auction. Anyway good hunting lads  Wink regards Peiper

Hi everyone.
This kit list is very informative and helpful to new members like myself.
Luckily, i have the vast majority of needed equipment and only need a few of the "Nice to have" items.
Can i just enquire, would a vintage straight edge razor be an acceptable alternative to the Wehrmacht issue one ?
