Brigade members received rigorous and intensive training in stealth tactics; hand-to-hand combat; the use of explosives for demolition; parachuting; amphibious warfare; rock-climbing; mountain warfare, and as ski troops.Amongst other operations, they were involved in Italy including Anzio. Worth noting that the Devils Brigade lead to the creation of the U.S and Canadian Special Forces units including the Green Berets (with a very similar unit badge by the way) and the current DELTA and JTF units.
