Timsbury 27/6/09

This was a village fate type show, very nice indeed. We had an open display so were kept on the go all day.
We have been asked to go to a school down there next year so will arrange it for the friday of Maiden Newton -if she gets back to me.
John i can't explain why when you looked through my rabbits ears you were looking at a nice looking female who was working at the stall on the other side ?? Laughing

Nice little show, good to catch up with some of the group again. Being a 'village' show, we were the only germans there and the MoPs were not the usual 'miltary show' crowd -so alot of suprised interest. The battle was a good idea and made great use of the space we had (thanks for weapon loan). My only minor gripe it was a pity it had to clash with evesham weekend and there was little chance to relax on the display as we had no barriers so the public were in on top of us and around us  -although we covered/policed it well.

I am sorry i had to go home afterwards and not go up to evesham as i originally planned due to family reasons.

You do get some shows even with a rope you have to have eyes everwere, we did a show in Bedford 4-5 years ago and that was even worse.

Spoke to Mark today, the organiser loved us. They would like to put another one on next year...may have to change dates at that time we should have Eversham and Maiden Newton within weeks of each other.
