Maid of HarlechDue to tidal erosion, chappie walkin on above beach found a P38 Lightning fighter .YES a P38,not a yank tin opener, steady BJ.On discovering this after an innocent search for info on mountain crash sites,i think to myself, not only have i holidayed there for quite likely 25 plus years, but i may have seen the since sawn off prop blade, sticking out the sand circa 1982-4.I have caused a bit of a do on the flypast magazine forum with this.I NEED A LOTTERY WIN TO RESCUE IT .It can be seen at low tide.Dont know how to post a link, can anyone enlighten me?.Bejesus,i was rabid .No date on a recovery tho,but i must be there when it does take to the short, but airbourne flight to the low loader
