group loyalty

it has come to my attention that we as a group do not show enough loyalty to ourselfs.

i know this can be a touchy and personal subject but i feel we should address it.

i dont think we as group members do enough to show we are a commited group
for example ...sbg and other groups have badges and shirts
also paperwork and addverts.

now i would like to propose an idea

well really a demand

i feel that we should all at least should have our civvy vehicles painted in a suitable ww2 style colour

failing that have a stencil made by jacko and paint our emblems on the bonnet

please discuss
but please dont get the hump....

Right, let me get this straight...... So you want me to paint my bright red Audi A6 mat feld grau or ordnance tan?  With Balkenkreuz on the doors or without? Question  Confused
les hearn

wow that sounds a great idea matt
why didnt i think of that...
ok guys
any one else willing to do that .....
now matt that sounds like real group loyalty

do you think you could get it done before victory show

what would look good is an adelvies(not sure how to spell it)
on the bonnet.

Why dont we just get some car stikers made and put them on the boot of the car?
admin

Good idea Kris.
les hearn

hmm yea good idea kris

if we all had matt black or grey cars with white gamboks on the bonnet we will look the dogs rollocks turning up at a show

how about german markings on the doors you know like they did in ww2 where you have nomanclad on the door in boxes
in white
Kris

Who thinks its a good idea to get some samples done??

I know a good site in the uk.

A bumper sticker £3.95

A Mug is £10.95

A Tie is £21.95 (Jacko)
Seb

Yes!
It's very good idea!!!

Just please can you show what kind of picture will be a on this  ???
Jacko

Im loyal....my urban assault model of the renault megane is already military green, with dogging friendly wipe clean leather seats. Its so grubby you cannot see the huge inappropriate german cross on the bonnet.

Joking aside -the only logo/image to use is the division 'gambock' shield to use -its simple, other re-enactors/history buffs will recognise it and its non-political etc. ive seen other german units use their divisional shield in same way.

Bear in mind, if you want tee shirts/badges/calling cards/stickers/car badges/ mugs etc there are loads of companies out there who will happily relieve you of your cash. I use a reliable one near to my work to produce embriodery and suchlike. Although -dont forget to factor in not just the cost of each item, but the origination/setup costs and how much its costs to place your design on an item...cost can mount up per item -esp on small runs. I suppose we could have a few to sell off at shows etc.

Personally id rather spend my money on ww2 items that relate to and improve the details my living history impression within the group.

Here are a few others jacko. These are abit more obscure than the Gambock symbol but would still be pretty good as car stickers or what ever. Please forgive my microsoft paint skill lol.

If people would stick them on there carswe can look and discuss at Detling.
