I would like to thank you all for making me feel very welcome at my first event. All your help is greatly appreciated. There is a great atmosphere within the group and was an enjoyable introduction. Compliments to the chefs and thanks again to you all,

Fantastic!  We are getting lots of good feedback on the other place for our snow look.

Two things...... I think I've lost my glasses, in a black case Crying or Very sad  and my electric razor went missing  Mad   Well, I hope I actually left them around and someone picked it up for me but I'm sure they were in my tent.

The specs are worth a lot of money to me, not to mention I can't see much  Laughing

Nice to have met you Richard and hope to see you soon Very Happy

I like Detling over W+P as its much more friendly, the marshals are friendly and the site is much cleaner/better maintained throughout the event with good water supplies and functioning fairly fragrant toilets all weekend. It was a pity there seemed less groups and less stalls etc this year (maybe Victory being so close caused this?) never the less this did not affect my enjoyment of the event.

I thought we looked great and we had great location too. It was good having a 'larger and squarer' pitch than W+P and we made goood use of it (probably looking like a bigger group than we are) the parade area and parades each day was a great structure and something we should try to keep up at future events.

Although i suggested the theme with liam, i have to say i thought it looked great as we 'sold' what makes us different from other re-enactment groups, made a greater link to why we have ice axes/crampons and skis and took us away from the sea of field grey defining us from other german groups and played to our strengths.

great to get to know Seb a little better and see Richard get on board. Thanks to all for a great long weekend....glad you enjoyed the food -thanks to les for doing the breakfasts too!

where was gebirgabear?

I had a look around Matt before i left and the only things i found were two 7.62 blanks on the floor around by Barry and Liams tent. Hope you have found your glasses.
