AFRA (read PD) are getting someone to run the above courses for them. It's a two day course and will cost you lots of money.
Please attend if you want, no worries, the more folk who know how to handle weapons safely the better and the 39-45 society applaudes AFRA for running them, its about time someone did!... But we can give you all the training you will need for free. Its part of belonging to a resposible society.
We have within our ranks a wealth of knowledge and training WILL be given at our events and trainining days. Anything you want covered please ask.
Allied and Axis weapons covered. There are pamphets available specifically aimed at re-enactors at request and in the membership packs (yes I know some haven't had them yet) together with hands on personal training.

As the Girbirgs CO i agree with Matt and i hope we don't let anyone on a battle, before we have given them at least the very basic instructions. I know we all forget or things happen with out our control, but be safe its only a hobby. I know Matt if he sees anything will pull people up, and that goes for all of us to keep our eyes open. If any of you have any problems about your weapons, Matt, John or Ade are the best people to ask.
