Thanks to all for the NVR weekend, i am glad i was able to get up there to catch up with all (it was looking iffy at one point) and thanks for the warm welcome i recieved when i finally got there!
Firstly congratulations to Andy for finally getting the rank pips and keeping the group going for another year now the 'season' of events is pretty much over.
NVR Nice little event and i like the location for battles there as its an unusual opportunity to fight around a rail bridge etc. Weather was terrific and i was quite relieved not to have to put on a static display for a change!
Like last year it still seems the railway doesnt really make good use of the re-eanctors or the space they have....and most of the punters seem not bothered about the 1940s theme apart from the steam!....but it doesnt matter as we made the best of it!

.....another season of 'official events' completed!...thanks to all involved and see you at the evesham social/training/malvern weekend!

Cool!  Here's another one.  Lots in there, yard battle towards end, it make a good montague of the weekend.

Note the fact that many guys in the battle are NOT pointing at the enemy when they fire.  Well done!  Very well done indeed!

I had a good time again. Smile
How many groups would have people coming by train ( seb ) and racing back from France ( Jacko ) to do an event ( oh and ropes has been to an event by train this year ).
I would like to say thanks to everyone in the group for this years events there have been some classic moments .
Well done ( again ) to Andy 'and to the Pyro boys .
To Bj and Jacko for the food and everyone else who has come along this year thanks for making it fun to be there.
I will see you all soon Barry Very Happy
