It was a good show this year (last years show  )
Great to see all the new members 
Two battles on the last day  
Sorry ropes for the one shot battle you had, next time 
Second battle, Guy I dont think the message you were sending to flack gun team would of come off the german army like that but a good laugh with Les

 The best Odyssey I have been to and zee disco vas a blast.
Thanks lads for the fun and entertainment vee party like real Germans.
Jacko and ropes you are both Krazy .
I am having trouble with liam he will not stop grinning must be the battle

Thanks to all for the welcome and good time at Detling. Again it was great to meet up with the group to finally meet Pieper (sorry to all for our snoring competition) and Mick (thanks for the bike ride and the use of your Zelt). Im glad you guys seemed to enjoy the hot chow and Im happy to do that another time, along with the kettle, if BJ cant. I was pleased how my plan to 'eat german' (ooer) on the display for lunch worked out -although my meals created some interesting windage problems for me in polite company later  . Old style 'Disco German' (Disco Deutch) worked out too  and I was seriously miffed at having to leave early as it was good on the display and I knew there was much fun to be had, but playing saturday night disco hits on the drive home was some small consolation  . Im looking forward to meeting up again at the Victory show, if im allowed back.......
In the meantime...Disco with 'the party' (dress code -wear brown):
